Today, we took a look at the concept of cloud computing and used Google Docs - a Web-based service that allows us to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms. With Google Docs we can share our documents with others for peer-editing and collaborate on the same document in "real-time." During class a roster was created in Google Docs that contains each student's name, email address, and personal blog URL: Class Roster H4. The best thing about Google Docs? We can access it from any computer that has an Internet connection!

Yes, in Online-A class. I learned that you can share it with other people to colaborate projects.

ReplyDeleteI have worked with Google Docs before one time. It was in Online Experience A with Mrs. Fowler. We used it while she was absent towards the end of the trimester to fill out questions that should be on the exam. Today, I learned that you can share the document with other users. You can both be able to edit it in "real time" and work on it together.

ReplyDeleteYes, I have worked with Google Docs before. Last year, I did many group and partner projects with people who did not live in the Bedford area. Because they lived so far away, Google Docs helped so much!
ReplyDeleteIn class, I learned much more about Google docs. I knew how to share, recieve, and work Google Docs for the most part. I learned how to create a form and turn it into an excel document. This will help me in the future!
I used Google Docs in Online Expirence A. I had Mrs. Lang and we used Google Docs for all of our notes.

i used Google docs in online A. we had to use it to take all of our notes. the teacher i had never showed us the different types of documents you can make.
